Same-day Procedures Performed by Neurosurgeons

Decompression Surgery

Decompression surgery is a medical procedure designed to relieve pressure on the spinal cord or nerves in the spine, often caused by conditions like herniated discs or spinal stenosis. During this surgery, a surgeon removes or trims spinal structures, such as bone spurs or portions of the intervertebral discs, to expand the spinal canal and alleviate nerve compression and associated pain.

Anterior Lumbar Fusion

Lumbar fusion surgery is a procedure where two or more vertebrae in the lower back are permanently joined together to eliminate motion between them, thereby reducing pain and improving stability. The fusion process involves using bone grafts and metal devices, such as rods and screws, to facilitate the fusion of the bones over time.

Other Procedures

Each surgical and diagnostic procedure is meticulously evaluated to prioritize the safety and comfort of our patients. We understand that not every patient or surgery is suited for same-day care, and our individualized approach ensures optimal outcomes and well-being for every individual we serve.
